Architecture, by definition, can be impressive and memorable, as well as sheltering and accomodating, and by (my) definition, anything beyond the smallest mud hut is useless; i.e., Every-land, not just Eng-land, is a land of useless architecture. Unless, of course, there is value in beauty and cleverness and creativity.
